Update to GATRA’s Response to Covid 19

GATRA’S RESPONSE TO COVID-19

Mark A. Sousa, Administrator of GATRA wants the public to know The Greater Attleboro Taunton Regional Transit Authority is being proactive in the protection of our riders.

Also, following Federal, State and CDC recommendations, our vehicles and facilities are being continually cleaned and disinfected. Hand sanitizing stations have been mounted on walls in our facilities and mounted on each vehicle, in addition, helpful health information for our riders is posted on our vehicles and in our facilities.

The GATRA Administrative office is closed to the public. The majority of employees are working remotely and will respond to all service, and customer issues. Although we are trying to keep as much service as possible, this is subject to change according to Federal and State guidelines.

GATRA is urging our passengers to follow the recommendations of CDC and the Massachusetts Department of Public health with the following procedures to combat the spreading of any virus.

 Wash hands often with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds
 Cover coughs and sneezes
 Stay home if sick
 Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth
 Clean areas that are frequently touched with sanitizing spray or wipes

GATRA wants all customers and employees to stay safe and healthy.
