What is the Boston Hospital Bus?
Boston Hospital Bus is a reservation service providing comfortable and safe wheelchair accessible transportation to Boston Hospitals and the greater South Shore Hospital area. This service is available to seniors and persons with disabilities in the towns of Duxbury, Marshfield, Kingston, Pembroke, and North Plymouth.
Who is Eligible?
- Persons 60 years of age or older.
- Persons who are not 60 years of age but have a disability and are ADA eligible.
How to Make a Reservation
Doctor’s appointments must be scheduled between 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM. Reservations can be made through your local Council on Aging between 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM. Please reserve no later than 11:00 AM the day before your appointment.

- Parking Lot at Exit 5 8:00 AM
- Hannaford’s Kingston 8:15 AM
- Parking Lot at the Pembroke Stop & Shop Plaza 8:30 AM
The bus leaves the Boston/South Shore area to return to the above locations at 3:00 PM.
Fare Information
The fare to ride the Boston Hospital Bus is $15.00 round trip.
