The Commuter Service to the East Taunton Station must be scheduled or canceled by 3:30PM the day prior to the trip. Same day service requests are not available at this time.
Starting March 24, 2025 the following service changes will go into effect:
TAUNTON/ATTLEBORO
Temporary Commuter Service to the East Taunton Station
This temporary service will gauge demand and identify service hours needed to make sure future changes to the Route 8 schedule will work for our riders. Riders who live within ¼ mile of the existing Route 8 (or the Taunton Terminal) can book rides to/from the East Taunton Station for the following train departures/arrivals:
TO BOSTON – 6:54AM, 7:48AM
FROM BOSTON – 4:55PM, 5:53PM, 6:52PM
FARES – $1.50 for adults, $0.75 for seniors or persons with a disability

Changes to Route 18
There will be two changes to the Route 18 schedule.
Timing on the outbound schedule between the Taunton Terminal and the Tremont ST & Norton Ave stops will be changed to 5 minutes instead of 10 minutes. No other timing is affected.
9:50AM INbound WEEKDAY & Saturday trip will change to 9:56AM in order to make it easier to transfer to the Route 18 from other routes.

LINK 4 – ROUTING & TIMING CHANGES
Starting Monday, March 24, 2025 the Link 4 will serve the new Middleborough Station instead of the Lakeville/Middleborough Station. There are also schedule changes that require us to change the timing. The changes are below. The 3:30PM trip changes to 3:25PM. A 4:10PM trip is Added from Cranberry Plaza and a 4:55PM departure is added from Middleborough MBTA Station.
