What is MedWheels?

Provides non-emergency long distance medical transportation for seniors and people with disabilities in any of GATRA’s 30 communities. The program is grant funded using State and Local funding sources.

Who is eligible?

• Persons 60 years of age or older.
• Persons who are not 60 years of age but have a disability and are ADA eligible.
• Persons who have no other means of transportation ie. certain MassHealth members are eligible for transportation.  To verify transportation eligibility please contact MassHealth directly 800-841-2900.

When the number is called, a Voicemail will be reached. Please leave your name, phone number, date of birth, appointment date and time, appointment location and how long the appointment will be.
