Cooling Center Information

As a reminder, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, GATRA is running regular service. With the expected weather conditions, we wanted to remind everyone that there are opportunities to get out of the heat at cooling centers.
Taunton Cooling Centers:
– Our Daily Bread, 111 High St., is open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Take the Route 4 and walk down Cohannet St.
– The Center at Olney, 30 Olney St., is open 8 a.m. to noon Thursday. It is closed Friday. Take the Route 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, or 18 to the Taunton Bus Terminal.
– The Taunton Public Library, 12 Pleasant St., is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday. It is closed Friday. Take the Route 2.
Attleboro Cooling Centers:
– Attleboro Senior Center at 25 South Main Street from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday. Take the Route 10, or take the Route 11, 12, 15, 16 or 18 to the Attleboro Transit Center and walk to the senior center.
– South Attleboro Fire Station at 1476 West Street from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. Take the Route 12.
North Attleboro Cooling Centers:
– Richards Memorial Library, 118 N Washington St., Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Take the Route 14. 
– Senior Center, 451 Elm St., Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to noon. Take the Route 10.
Wareham Cooling Centers:
– Wareham Emergency Operation Center at 48 Marion Road from 12 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 2 and Friday, July 3. Take the Link 1.
Plymouth Cooling Centers:
Plymouth Center for Active Living – 44 Nook Rd, Plymouth, MA 02360. Take the Mayflower Link.
